- Bromsgrove Folk Festival - The return

 - The Dodford Inn, Dodford, Nr Bromsgrove

As we'd so enjoyed the Bromsgrove Folk festival in 2000 (and for some reason they had apparently enjoyed us), we were only too happy to be invited back for another weekend of beer 'n' folk. Unfortunately the pub had recently been taken over, and hadn't been organised as a CAMRA event, but luckily some strings had been pulled, and a good selection of beers were on offer.

The band enjoyed the weekend as a chance to relax and listen to some other folk artists, as well as camp with some friends.

The gig itself was memorable for the power cut half way through, as some drunken person, with musical taste, had decided to turn off the generators. The band played on however, and turned the gig into an audience participation acoustic gig, until normal services were resumed.

Unfortunately we missed the last day, as we had to be up at first light on the Sunday to go and play at the Harborne carnival, but that's another story.....
